Using BoxView IDE, programmers can create, test and debug applications with fast data access and extensive display capabilities.

Currently we support two families of chips - Freescale DSPs (DSP560xx, DSP563xx, DSP567xx) via JTAG/OnCE and 8051 MCUs (SiLabs, Actel Core8051, Silicon Laude SL8051). We have EC3 and EC2 support for 8051 on Linux and additionally we support TS on Windows. BoxView IDE provides a target simulator to use when the target is not available for testing.

More complex configurations such as debugging with multiple users, multiple embedded processor targets, or remote access are all supported seamlessly in BoxView IDE through BoxServer connectivity software. This multi-core, multi-device development capability allows the developer to start/stop/single-step selected devices simultaneously. Access to multiple devices is provided from single or multiple workstations via TCP/IP connection.  BoxView IDE includes BoxServer connectivity software.
