This is old site devoted to SecurityLib. I have reactivated it here so that it is usable, but many links and data may be dead.
Welcome to MarVic SecurityLib Website.
This page is about the one of the MarVic's (old NG Logic) projects: SecurityLib. It is a library, which restricts access to options of other programs to specific users. It is mainly intended for Borland C++Builder and Delphi (ver. 4 or 5) applications, although any language enabled to call dynamic link library routines can be used. If you are a developer you can use this software, giving your application power of simplicity, speed, extensibility and universality, enables you to store both rights and additional custom information about users in predefined or custom data types. If you are a administrator, using a program secured with SecurityLib gives you virtually not limited possibilities: you can assign users to a groups, set group default rights, and create group hierarchy to move part of administrating workload to other people (for example, branch managers). If you are a user, you get the same interface in many problems, which is as simple as possible. This page is intended for both SecurityLib users and developers using it. You can Check newest information about product or download new versions or patches. Also you can read SecurityLib documentation. Currently semi-final version is released. You can download it from here. In this version only C++Builder 5 is supported. Further support for C++Builder 4 and Delphi 4/5 is under development, if you are interested in it, you can get latest information about it if you email me. Also the purpose of this web is to enhance the support services we provide to our customers. We've provided a number of resources here to help you resolve problems, report bugs, and suggest improvements to our products and service.
