Hello, my name is Marcin Wudarczyk, I am the owner of NG Logic and finally I have a place to tell you my story.

It became evident that I will relate my life to the programming when I got my first book about it when I was 10. I then persued with my programming education learning BASIC on russian clone of ZX Spectrum (it had cyrillic all over the keyboard). It was 1991 and was thinking about starting a software company called MarVic and planned for several applications for ZX Spectrum, including MV Word, MV Excel, MV Draw and others ;). Unfortunetely (or fortunately) I did not have time to finish them as parents finally bought me an IBM PC compatible (it was 386DX 20Mhz with 80MB XT-bus hard disk made by hungarian company). So I moved on to working on a new products in QBasic, including Daty 1.0 for reminding of important dates, and Biorythms 3.0 displaying biorythms on any kind of display (CGA, EGA, VGA, Hercules, even text mode).

Of course, when it came time to select high school, I have chosen computer science profile. Over that time I learned C++ and proclaimed it the best language ever due to its simplicity and power, also I engaged in database programming in MS Access. After the second year I have sold first MarVic product called WeMiD, that was Access database for management of orders in furniture shop.

Well, then I headed to master studies at Warsaw University of Technology and fallen into the world of C++Builder. After two years I delivered new product called SecurityLib - a database-driven component for user rights management. It was a fully featured product with documentation and graphic editor of user groups dependencies. I still was a strong proponent of C++ and opponent of Java - you may read my articles from that period about tricks with templates.

During that time I also decided to start another master degree on Warsaw School of Economics to broaden my horizons and be better prepared for running a business. I had a tough time then - studying at two universities in parallel was quite demanding. But I made it and graduated in 2006 from both of them with very good results.

In the business school I attended a entrepreneurship course and it struck me that may be I am holding too much to C++ and closing myself to other opportunities. This way I encountered Python and Ocaml - the increase of productivity of a programmer became evident for me. It was so strong that I decided that my company goal will be to use that capabilities to gain competetive edge. That's how NG Logic was born (continued on History page).
